Free Initial Consultation
All initial tutoring and advocacy consultations are free. This is a time to share your individual situation and needs.
If needed, a free informal reading assessment can be scheduled.
Barton Reading and Spelling Tutoring
As trained Barton Reading & Spelling System tutors, we provide one-on-one, individualized instruction. This system can be customized to work at each student's pace and works for both children and adults.
The Barton Reading & Spelling System is based on the Orton-Gillingham approach, which is recommended by the International Dyslexia Association.

Tutoring sessions are provided at least twice a week for a total of two hours. Sessions can be adjusted to meet the student's individual needs.
The options are:

(4) 30-minute sessions

(3) 40-minute sessions

(2) 60-minute sessions
Sessions consist of interactive virtual tutoring with a live tutor.
Our Advocacy Services
The laws involving education guarantee every student the right to a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) tailored to each student's specific and unique needs. We have the certification and personal experience to ensure that students receive the education they are entitled to.
The goal of our advocacy services is to provide parents with the information they need to ensure that their child receives an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 plan that meets the needs of their student. This includes appropriate interventions* and accommodations*.
